Naeem is a frequent speaker and is an Amazon best-selling author on entrepreneurship. In 2018 and 2019, Naeem was honored with the distinction of being one of the 500 most prominent and influential Muslims in the world by Islamica 500, for creating the first Halal crowdfunding platform for real estate investors.
Prior to ShariaPortfolio, Naeem partnered in many successful businesses including FedEx franchises, commercial real estate investments, top 1% Amazon selling partner, and other startups. Naeem received his Bachelor of Engineering degree (BSEE) from Montreal, and recently relocated from Kuala Lumpur to Dallas, Texas.

Aly Taha is the founder of Cardinal Financial Services (CFS), a full-service accounting firm providing expert bookkeeping, accounting, payroll processing, and fractional CFO services to businesses and professionals. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Aly helps clients streamline their financial operations, improve visibility into performance, and make confident, data-driven decisions that fuel sustainable growth.
Earlier in his career, Aly worked at KPMG, where he gained a strong foundation in Audit before moving into Deal Advisory, focusing on Accounting Advisory Services (AAS) and Financial Due Diligence (FDD). Imam Nadim studied at Jamia Taalimul-Islam, Dewsbury, U.K. where he received ijazaat in Arabic, Fiqh, Hadith, Tafseer, Tajweed, and Qira’ah. He served as lead Quranic instructor, the head of an Arabic and Islamic Studies department at IANT Quranic Academy, Bayyinah Institute, and Qalam Institute.
Imam Nadim focuses his services on leadership, youth, marriage counseling, conflict resolution, religious sciences, education, and community development with the current domestic challenges for American Muslims. Imam Nadim is the longest tenue Imam at EPIC since joining in 2012
Hala Halabi is the Director of Refugee Services and Community Empowerment at ICNA Relief USA, where she began as a volunteer in 2011. She holds a BA in French Literature and a Master’s in Social Work, Community and Administrative Practice from the University of Texas at Arlington.
At ICNA Relief Dallas, Hala has improved the food pantry, streamlined refugee assistance programs, and managed car donation initiatives. As Director of Refugee Facilitation, she has successfully integrated the growing refugee community through educational training programs, in-kind donation drives, and volunteer development. She also serves as ICNA Relief USA’s primary media spokesperson on refugee issues and directs the Dallas Women’s Transitional Home, bringing nearly 13 years of nonprofit leadership experience.
